About WisdomShare

No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.”

—Alfred North Whitehead

Wisdomshare.com is a site where people can share their knowledge and experiences with others to help them achieve something greater than they ever could have achieved on their own. Each one of us is truly the author or our own destiny and we can all benefit from the wisdom of others.

Have you ever met or known someone whom YOU perceive as successful or who YOU believe has accomplished something great in his/her life? Do you wonder what makes him/her “tick”? Have you ever asked him/her how he/she accomplished what he/she has or what steps he/she took to reach that level of accomplishment?

Chances are, if you had the chance to talk with him/her, and he/she thoroughly explained his/her situation to you, he/she would share that there was at least one (or more) person in his/her life who helped him/her along the way to get where he/she is today through ‘wisdomsharing.’

If you (or others) perceive you to be successful, YOU have something of value to share. You possess the wisdom that others seek. You can be a fountain of knowledge for those who want to become what you are or want to achieve what you have achieved. Think of those people who helped you along in your life, those who helped you arrive where you are today. If you feel you have accomplished everything in your life by yourself, you are either the most brilliant person who has ever walked the face of the earth or you just haven’t thought long enough about your journey.

Wisdomshare: The willingness to share knowledge and experience with another to help him achieve something greater than he ever could have achieved on his own; The sharing of a wise outlook, plan or course of action.”

Your journey may be an enormous benefit to others, but you will never know unless you choose to wisdomshare! It doesn’t matter where you do it; what does matter is that you are trying to share what you have learned and experienced in your life and impart wisdom to someone who can clearly benefit from it. Who knows, your wisdom could be priceless and used to completely change the life of another for the better. From your greatest accomplishments to your biggest mistakes, others can benefit from YOU and your wisdom!

If you are considering a change in one of the many aspects of your life (relationship, career, financial, health and so on), you will hopefully realize how you can benefit from others’ wisdom. Others have gone through many life experiences that might closely align with your current challenges. Most of the time others will be more than happy to help you avoid pitfalls and mistakes along the way. From creating better personal relationships to understanding the best ways to advance your career, most people are ready and willing to wisdomshare with you—all you have to do is ask.

Ipsative: Literally means ‘of the self’; a specific type of measure in which respondents compare two or more desirable options and pick the one which is most preferred.”

When wisdomsharing with one person, it may produce positive results, but the same wisdom may not work as well or at all with another. For this reason, we must take an ‘ipsative’ approach and find what works for that person! We may need to try, try again and continue trying until we do find what does work—because there is always hope! Wisdomshare may possibly be the hope we are all looking for!
